Specialising in natural photography with natural light, and by natural photography I mean subtle, atmospheric, moody and elegant. Although I like using natural light where he can, it is not always possible and some photo shoots require the use of additional lights, flashes, reflectors and filters, to achieve the outstanding results I demand.

The enjoyment of photographing an ordinary subject in an abstract way, that provokes thought, curiosity and conversation is the motivation behind my work. My main goal is to cause someone to pause, stop and ponder the images I create. You can find a small sample of my photography in the gallery shown on the left.

So what type of photography does Richard Evans do?

Well generally I will consider most things, but specialise in Portraits, Nature, Landscapes and Weddings,  a small sample of my work can be found in my Photo Gallery in the left margin.

Richard Evans's Profile

Richard Evans Freelance Photographer was born in 1968 in the United Kingdom, and qualified as a photographer at NESCOT (North East Surrey College Of Technology). Although I was trained with conventional mechanical SLR cameras and primarily in Black & White and Sepia tone, I have moved with the times and now operates within the Digital Format. Colour work is undertaken, although Richard Evans's love is for sepia tone, and black and white (which usually provides more thought provoking and atmospheric images) prevails.

As a freelance photographer, I am able to explore the beauty of his surroundings by 'Capturing the moment...' in high definition and exploring the abstract, giving me the freedom to record a moment in time, in either colour, black & white or Sepia tone.

I believe that everyone should have access to quality photographs of the people and things that are important to them. I like to work with my clients and future clients to offer a bespoke package tailored to your personal requirements and budget.
